Tip: Before you enter a turn, brake or back off the accelerator early. It's the only way to get through without veering off track and straight into an obstacle. Use the brake markers at all times and remember--hitting stuff sucks.

Tip: Bouncing off an opponent is definitely not recommended. He'll continue on his merry way, and you'll lose gobs of momentum.

Tip: In Arcade mode, keep to the center of the track, particularly when driving through turns, if you ever expect to snare enough power-ups to win.

Tip: The extra pit stops incurred by choosing soft tires and a decreased fuel load are far less harmful than the slug-slow lap times brought about by hard tires and a full fuel tank.
