listen this combo will really help u.......ok
1st pick a character that r fast powerful and that do powerful smash attacks 
Ex: (C.falcon,fox,pikachu)ok after u picked on of these cahracters go 2 
sector Z( this stage has the most open area nuthin 2 interfere)when the 
fite begins kick ur openet up and keep doing a smash upward attack(jump in 
the air and press ^+A 2gether when near ur enemy)keep doing this until his 
percent is at 50% then do a air smash attack while he is falling 
(<or>+A) and while he is flyin2 wateva side u kicked him 2 run directley close 2 
where he is goin 2 land then when he is about 2 land on the ship grab 
him and throw him. this is a good combo 2 use i use it a million times and 
i win battles in matter of seconds try it!

someone said that the bat is the only weapon that kills opponents in one hit. they are incorrect. The large black mallet with the yellow handle also kills opponents in one hit. So does the Pink beam stick.

heres how to unlock every character.....................
jigglypuff - complete 1p mode with any character on any difficulty level without continueing
C. falcon - complete 1p mode in less than 20:00 without continueing
luigi - complete everyones break the targets
ness - complete normal mode with 3 lives without continueing
metal mario - complete very hard mode without continueing ( u must have a emety space )
master hand - complete very hard mode with 1 life without continueing ( u must have a emety space)

Ok, I have a googooplex of tricks for this game but first lets get one thing stright, ssmb for n64 stinks on ice compared to its gamecube coterpart so get a life. How you get Luigi is by beating BONUS STAGE 1 with all the eight 
origanal caracters.(Yoshi, Link, Samus, Kerby, Mario, Pikachu, DK, and
