you cant really catch smoochum , but catch jinx and a ditto put them in the day care (south of Goldenrod City) walk around for awile (1-2hrs.)if you have 5 pokemon in your party the day care man gives you an eggyou walk around untill it hatches what comes out is a Smoochum.

You need Poke'mon Stadium2 and Brainboy for this. first go save game on brainboy then go on poke stadium 2 go to prof oaks lab on game go to computer deposit all pokemon .Then go back on b-boy erase game then restore saved game.when done you should have the old pokemon then go to ps2withdrawpokemon youll then have 2 of everyone of your pokemon.

1)put 2 pokemon in an empty box1-5 2)change box to 6 
3)save 
4)when it says not to turn off the power turn it off right before the period at the end 
5)turn back on 
6)look in the box and in your party to see a cloned pokemon 

NOTE:no more or less than 2 pokemon in the box would not work if it is not right before the period 
an item it is holding will also be cloned

you if you want to go to orange leage.first you need to have about 16 badges and you had beaten the pokemon league.then you go where you battle ash youll need to beat him 7 times or more.then an item will appear.that item will be an ORANGE PASS.YOU GO TO THE TRAIN STATION and you give it to the man.then the train will transport you to the orange league.make sure you have your pokemon L100 because ash is going to be there with his pokemon stronger I think.just try your best and take your time.good luck.
