Go to change box then when it says "Do not turn off the power" turn it off anyway. Then turn it back on and you should have one of those pokemon in your box and one in your party.

If u want to catch a missingno. go to the old man in viredian city let him show u how to catch pokemon. then fly to cinnabar island surf on the side next to the gym until u see a missingno. if u kill it youll have lots of the 6th item in ur pack so just incase put master ball number 6 in ur pack.

save when you get your pokegear go to pro elm house first choose the pokemon you want to pick then do the errend for pro.elm when the guy gives you the pokeballs give 1 to your pokemon then catch a pokemon dupicate your starter pokemon choose continue then pick a different starter pokemon then go to bills pc and take out the pokemon remove the pokeball and catch another pokemon then duplicate the 2 starter pokemon choose continue and pick the last starter pokemon ENJOY! *^_^*
(note) for the trick to catching mew u cant past cerulean city, so if you beat the game or something you have to start over. And u havent beaten misty yet either or her trainer pplz.
You've probably herd all sorts of crazy codes on how to get mew, but the only way that works without a gameshark is: First you have to catch Mewtwo then go to Bills house and talk to him go outside and fly to professer oak he will check your poke dex and then he will give you Mew in level 5. Thats the real way. Try it!It realy works!!!!!!!!!!

If you ever catch the glitch pokemon 'M' don't worry. just keep swimming and move the glitch to the first spot of your pack and have it fight another glitch after the battle
