If you can't beat Gruntilda this is a strategy to help you beat her.
First, she tries to hit you with her lazers. All you have to do is jump over
them. Next, she asks you a triva question. Use the same rules as you did
for the Tower of Tragedy Quiz. If you get it right she goes easy on you.
But if you get it wrong she uses her faster attack on you. Get in a far away
position and change your eggs to grenade eggs. Use the up and down c buttons
to get in the right position. She throws magic at you.
When she does, use left and right c buttons to move away and you can still
shoot her. When you hit her four times, she lets out a honeycomb then goes
to her next attack. She turns all the lazers on. Use the same method as
before. Shoot her down four more times. Moving on...... Then she tries to
hit you with a cannon. Keep running because when the drill is in the spot
you're in, she fires. After you cream her she takes out both of the cannons.
Use the same method. Hit her again and she opens the exhaust port. Also,
she cranks her drill up and starts to get you. Get by the back and wait for
the drill to stop. Steam stops coming out of the exhaust port. Fire a
Clockwork Kazooie egg in there go in the back. You will see two rectangular
boxes. Blow one of them up (it doesn't matter which one). Then wait until
she stops again and fire another one in there and blow the other one up. She
loses power and starts using magic again. Then, after you hit her, she
throws out bad guys. When one's in sight, hit it and then shoot Gruntilda
some more. You're almost done. Then she puts out a gas that chokes you
while you shoot. Hit her some more and then she throws her most powerful
spell she's ever thrown. Hit her just one more time and she's
gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hidden Jinjo in Spiral Mountain
If you swim in the water near the waterfall you'll see a rock with Kazooie's
face on it. Talon Torpedo into and you will find a Jinjo!

After you've given Mumbo the Glowbo, for getting him out quicker, go
in the green lazer section. Press B and then Mumbo will ask you if you need
his help! Note: You can't press B in the green section with Mumbo. You'll
have to return him back to his chair.

When you are only Banjo and you've learned the Pack Whack move, jump
up. Then use the Pack Whack and press A. If timed correctly, you will jump
up on thin air!

In Jolly Rogers Lagoon there will be dark patches of brown. Use the Bill Drill to uncover what's under them. There will be two doubloons and two shock jump pads.

In Pine Grove you will see Wumba's Wigwam. She asks you to get her a Mega-Glowbo. You will need the Ice Key and the Talon Torpedo move. Go to Glitter Gluch Mine and head for the Waterfall Caven, where you get a Jiggy. You will see a rock with Kazooie's face on it. Use Talon Torpedo to get through. Swim a distance and you will be on Halfire Peaks. There will be a safe. The Ice Key will open it. Inside is the Mega-Glowbo. Take it to Wumba and she turns you into a dragon!

The code is called secret split pad in Jolly Rogers Logoon! 

Once you first enter the level walk straight. Look at the big box with the lock on it. Go to the back of it and aim at the crack with grenade and fire! the box should explode and a split pad should be in its place! That's it!

Mystery Pink Egg

To find the location of the mysterious Pink Egg from Banjo-Kazooie, go back to Spiral Mountain. Just above the tree stumps where the speed shoes are located is a hole. In the hole are metal bars enclosing in a Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak. To destroy the metal bars, you will have to learn about Grenade Eggs. Use them to blow up the bars. Go up to Gruntilda's Lair to find a Flight Pad so you can fly to the hole and break open the Game Pak to find the Pink Egg.

Mystery Blue Egg

Go back to Spiral Mountain and use the Flight Pad to fly up to a waterfall with a hole in it. Jump all the way through the rushing current to find the Game Pak. Use the Grip Grab skill to break open the bars.

Ice Key

The Ice Key from Banjo-Kazooie is hidden inside another Game Pak. You will have to learn the Grip Grab move to get it. Go to Jinjo Village, go behind the Green Jinjo's House, and find the sandy spot. You will see a crack in the wall. Go up on the platform near there to reach it and climb your way across to a hole. Be careful, because there are plants that will bite you. When you reach the cave, you will see the Game Pak.

Jet Force Gemini posters

Look inside Bottle's House, and his little sister's and brother's rooms to find pictures of the stars of Jet Force Gemini on the walls.

Swim faster

Press A + B to swim faster in water.

Cheat mode

Enter the witch's head on Spiral Mountain to find Cheato. One cheat will be revealed for every five Cheato pages that you find. Other cheats are revealed by finding the various mystery eggs hidden throughout the game. The cheats are entered in the Mayahem Temple near Wumba's Wigwam. Note: Grenade eggs are required to enter the temple. Spell out one of the following cheat codes inside the temple to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Cheats prefixed with "CHEATO" are unlocked immediately without collecting the required number of Cheato pages.
