go to a mail;box in town and give it a weapon, the hookshot works best (even though it will say it only takes mail)when all the words go away you will still be focused on the mailbox (dont press the z icon) use the slingshot and it will look like you are using it but it will be invisable. if you do this a couple of times, when you use the hookshot again, the links will be invisable but when you go to a different location the links will reapear again. warning: this could cause damage to your game or it may also freeze your game at where you started so save the game before you do this
